Meet Connor
Hi! I'm Connor (pictured below with my best furry friend, Sully) and I'm a Special Education teacher who works with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in grades K - 5. I have always loved spending time with children and have spent most of my adult life around them. I come from a big family with many nieces and nephews. I've worked as a swim instructor and a camp counselor which led me to understand the joy of working with children and into the profession of education. I love being a classroom teacher because it is exciting, you never know what the day may bring, and watching children learn and grow in a safe environment is extremely fulfilling. My job allows much time to raise a baby after adoption, with time off for just about every holiday and of course, summer recess!
Away from the classroom, I love spending time with my big family, playing tennis and spending hot summer days on the beach. I love cooking at home with Lou just as much as I love going out to eat with my friends, while we explore new shops and restaurants in New York City and on Long Island.
I am blessed with a loving and supportive family and a fantastic group of friends who are ecstatic (to put it mildly) that Lou and I are adopting. Being a dad has always been so important to me, and I cannot wait to complete our family through infant adoption.
